In the aftermath of January 12 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Emeline Antoine, aka "Mirose", works tirelessly to bring relief to her community.
"Je suis sensible. J'habite dans la cours d'une ecole (Instution Mixte St Pierre de Shada), avec une abri a côté.
Tout les jours mes enfants et les enfants de l'abris me demandent; 'Mirose as tu quelque chose pour nous?' Je suis obligée de sortir pour tous."

Throughout March, 2010, she took 6 tap-taps roundtrip, to pick up food cooked by "Food for Life" (FFL), a small NGO operating in Haiti to provide hunger relief.
She serves meals on the grounds of Instution Mixte St Pierre, a school across from an "Abrit" called Camp Claque in her neighborhood, which was greatly damaged by the earthquake on January 12, 2010.
Her own two children, and children living in that camp, are the beneficiaries of her efforts. (See slideshow for images of School and Camp conditions)

Mirose continues to travel to NGO's in search of tents, food, and other assistance. She is largely unsuccessful, in part since she is an individual, and not representative of a formal organization.
She intends to form a Foundation to support her efforts. As evidence of her accountability, Veya produced this website and wrote Mirose a recommendation letter. Read & Download Mirose's Recommendation Letter HERE
